  • Guest Speaker at Green Valley Elementary on Career Day to speak with the students in small groups in order to inspire their desire to achieve a further education beyond high school by educating the students on a career in Law
  • As Vice-President of the Shelby County Bar Association, coordinated Law Day and volunteered with the American Village to write a curriculum and solicited lawyers in our Bar Association to give of their time to work with the High School Students.Lara Alvis, as Vice-President and Chairman of this event, the Shelby County Bar Association, won a Statewide Award on the work with the American Village in Montevallo, Alabama
  • Supported the “Autism Speaks” campaign in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
